Revival FM was not created overnight. It is the result of a vision that took shape over years, until it could no longer remain an idea. Today, that vision has a sound.
Revival FM is part of Stichting LoveUnlimited Ministries and operates within the GOD Media Network, alongside GOD Radio. From its base in the Achterhoek in the Netherlands, it reaches far beyond regional borders with one clear purpose: to bring a living, active expression of faith through the most universal language available — music.
Long before Revival FM existed as a station, it already existed as a conviction. Its founder, Robin Prijs, had been carrying this vision for years. It was never vague. It was specific: a station with the energy and quality of mainstream radio, but fully surrendered to a higher purpose.
A platform that would not dilute the message, but also would not compromise on sound. He spoke about that dream openly — in testimonies, in conversation, and even in his book Never Living a Lie Again, where the vision was already described before it had fully taken shape.
Revival FM is the sound of a conviction finally becoming reality.
Some connections are strategic. Others are simply obvious from the first moment. That is how it was when Robin connected with Bas Emons. Both shared the same passion for radio — not just as a medium, but as something that could carry meaning, identity, and impact.
Bas had just launched a national station: GOD Radio. It did not take long before collaboration followed naturally. Robin began producing a weekly Christian chart show for GOD Radio, bringing structure, energy, and a contemporary edge into the programming.
That same drive is still visible today in his ongoing weekly program, the Vrijdagmiddagshow. But the larger vision — the one called Revival — remained alive in the background until the right moment came.
The roots of Revival FM go all the way back to 1994. That is where it started — on a local station in the former municipality of Aalburg, at Hawaii Hit FM. What began as a gospel program quickly grew into something deeper. Radio proved to be more than a hobby; it became a calling, a craft, and a lifelong pursuit.
Over the years, Robin worked with multiple stations, including Transmedia Radio, Maasstad Radio, Altena FM, Vestingstad FM, Smart FM, and Regio8. Not all of it was Christian radio at first. There were mainstream formats, different audiences, and different styles.
Until a clear decision was made: to step away from everything else and focus entirely on Christian radio. That decision changed everything.
With the support and trust of Bas Emons, the final step could finally be taken. Revival FM was launched as part of the GOD Media Network — not as a side project, not as an experiment, but as a fully formed station with a clear identity and direction.
What makes Revival FM different is not only its origin story. It is the conviction behind it. We are not driven by music. We are driven by the Holy Spirit. Music is the vehicle — but never the source.
To remove unnecessary barriers. To speak in a language that is immediately understood — while pointing clearly, consistently, and unapologetically to Jesus Christ.
Revival FM may be rooted in the Achterhoek, but its reach is not limited by geography. It is built for a global audience — for anyone who recognizes the sound of modern radio, but is searching for something more than entertainment. Something real. Something that carries truth.
This is not about building just another station. It is about giving a long-held vision a voice — and letting that voice travel as far as it needs to.
